• Directions: 1) Drain one 1.5 oz can of diced tomatoes, keeping juice. 2) Mix packet contents with tomato juice in a saucepan, stirring until completely dissolved. 3) Add 1.5 oz. can of tomato sauce, drained tomatoes, and 1 tsp. of olive oil to juice mixture. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 5 minutes. 4) Add sauce to freshly prepared pasta. Makes 6 servings.
• Chef Suggests: Add pitted Kalamata olives. Generously sprinkle with Simply Organic basil. Serve with Parmesan cheese and garlic bread. Or: Dice 6 medium potatoes, toss with 1/3 cup oil or butter and packet contents. Roast at 400 degrees F until potatoes are tender.
