And then the wonderful, open face of its human companion, upon whose knee the dogs paw so gently rests. How not to feel happy looking at this? what a bond!! 6 5 8 x 5. Late 19th c. I believe. Overall good condition, with some scattered smudges and toning, and another graphite drawing on reverse.
