The Emily Bronte English Shrub Rose from David Austin Roses is delicate and thriving. An exceptionally beautiful rose with distinctive neat, flat blooms. Each bloom is a lovely soft pink, the smaller central petals deepening to rich apricot and surrounding deep-set stamens. The strong Tea scent becomes more Old Rose, with delicious hints of lemon and grapefruit. It forms a bushy shrub with strong, healthy, upright growth. The shrub was introduced in 2018 by the Bronte Society to celebrate the bicentenary of Emily Bronte's birth. She is best known for her gripping tale of passion and revenge, Wuthering Heights.

This rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up a mixed border or celebrating in a rose hedge or border. Versatile, the shrub can also be enjoyed in pots and containers, or for cutting and enjoying in your home.

After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Emily Bronte will be about 125cm tall and 110cm wide, with a delicious strong scent and large blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
